Organizational Contest

Concert Choir will be performing for the IGSMA Organizational Contest on Friday Feb. 24, 2012. The contest is being held at Evans Junior High in Bloomington. School is dismissed on that day at 1:15 but choir students are asked to remain at school. We will be leaving from UMS at 2:00 PM to go to Bloomington. Our warm up time is at 4:35 PM and we perform at 5:00 PM. We expect to return to UMS by 7:00 PM. Wish us luck for an excellent performance!

Concert Choir T-Shirts!

Concert Choir will be wearing special T-shirts for performances! Members of the group submitted designs and then everyone voted for the one they liked best. The winning design was created by 8th grader, Brianna Pierson. Congratulations, Brianna!
The shirts will be ready in a couple of weeks so that they can be worn at the first concert. More details will be available in a take-home message from Mrs. Vaughn.

Concert Choir

Concert Choir is a special group of students who love to sing! The group is directed by Mrs. Vaughn. Students who have a positive attitude and behavior and are willing to come in before school for rehearsals are welcome to join. An "audition" is requested as well as sign-up with an information sheet and parent signature.
We rehearse every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, starting promptly at 8:10 AM. Regular attendance is VERY important!
The group now has 30 members!!
Our first performance will be at the UMS Fall Chorus Concert on Tuesday October 18, 2011 at 7:00 PM in the Cafetorium
