    Day Science Language Arts
    Monday Students will be completing a review packet/study guide for our upcoming Light test.
    They will have the entire period to work on their packets using the textbooks provided in class.
    The four-page packet contains various sections: T/F, matching, short-answer, and a word search.
    This packet will be due by the end of class on Wednesday!!
    1st & 2nd Period

    DEA testing for Math in the East Computer Lab!!
    Tuesday Review Packet = Day Two
    Students will form small, productive groups in order to make progress on the packet completion.
    HW = packet due by the end of class Wednesday
    Journal Entry = free choice
    Spelling corrections for Week 21 due in class today.
    Students can work on completing Week 22 spelling sentences.

    After break, literature circle groups will come together and look at their schedules.
    Groups will read their assigned chapters, complete the appropriate worksheet page and share with the entire group.
    HW = spelling test on Thursday
    Wednesday Students will finish any remaining work on their review packets.
    After 20 minutes, the teacher will provide answers to the crucial sections of the packet.
    Students are expected to take the review packet home and study with a family member.
    HW = Light test tomorrow!!
    Journal Entry = free choice
    Work on spelling sentences for Week 22
    Students will form their literature circle groups.
    Goals for today include the following: schedule check, reading of assigned chapters, share out with the group.
    HW = speling test tomorrow!!
    Thursday Today we will be taking the assessment on Light.
    This test is worth 50 points.
    The assessment will contain these types of questions: Multiple-choice, matching, and a ray diagram.
    HW - none
    Students will be give 10 minutes to review their words in small groups or individually.
    The spelling test will be given orally by the teacher.
    A few minutes will be provided for students to begin Week 23 sentences.
    For the remainder of the period, students will work in their literature circle groups.
    HW = none
    Friday Students that were absent for review packet days or test day will make up the assessment today in class.
    All others who have taken the test will be watching the final light video in the series.
    Notes will be taken during the video and discussed towards the end of the period.
    Journal Entry = lit circle progress
    Time for Week 23 spelling sentences.

    After break, students will gather into their literature circle groups.
    Schedules may need to be amended based upon progress this week in class.
    Groups will read the assigned chapters, complete the worksheets for the day, and share with the groups towards the end of class.
