Essential Question: What happened during WWII and the Holocaust?

Agenda: Today we look at the Nazi's propagandistic attempt to fool the world into believing anti-Semitism was not as bad as feared in Germany by providing the world with a look at the "typical" concentration camp at Theresienstadt. We look at a poem written by Teddy, a boy of unknown age, called "Terezin" about his new home. We also look at Jewish partisans and their role in WWII. Students should finish chap. 5 of Four Perfect Pebbles and complete the chapter 5 quiz for homework if they did not complete it in class. Books may be checked if needed.

Homework: None unless chap 5 quiz not completed in class; extra-credit WWII crossword puzzles are due Monday.
